This Cookie Policy explains how Kyaus uses cookies and similar technologies on kyaus.ch, what each category does, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the shop remember your actions and preferences, such as your cart, language, and login, and help us understand how the site is used. We also use similar technologies such as local storage for the same purposes.
Cookie categories we use
We group cookies into three categories. You choose which optional categories to allow in the consent banner, and you can change your choice at any time. By default, only strictly necessary cookies are active until you give consent.
Strictly necessary
Required for the shop to work: checkout, login, your cart, language selection, security, and remembering your cookie choices. These are always active and cannot be switched off, as the site cannot function without them.
Analytics (optional)
Set only if you accept analytics cookies. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the shop, including which pages are viewed and where we can improve, using anonymized data. Analytics stay disabled until you consent.
Marketing (optional)
Set only if you accept marketing cookies. They allow conversion measurement and retargeting through advertising partners so we can show more relevant content. Marketing stays disabled until you consent.
Payment provider
When you pay, checkout is handled by our payment provider Payrexx (Switzerland), which may set cookies strictly needed to process your payment securely. Please refer to Payrexx's own privacy information for details.
Managing your preferences
You can accept or reject optional cookies in the banner shown on your first visit, and reopen your choices at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, though some features may then stop working.
How long cookies last
Necessary cookies last for your session or a short period needed for their function. Your consent choice is remembered for up to 12 months, after which we ask again. Analytics and marketing cookies have retention periods set by each provider.
